Trends 2012/2013
Our new collection reflects this year’s trends in the textile industry. Each of the fabrics presented may be used to follow one or more of these trends, depending on their colour and arrangement.
The display stands and mood boards in our showroom present the interesting and dynamically changing world of textiles and facilitate choosing the materials desired.
Kaleidoscope of Colours
With a consonance of colours, light and matter, this trend is an invitation to play and experiment with colour. It consists of strong, dynamic shades that are fresh, energetic and bold: radiant yellow, dark aubergine, indigo and bright fuchsia. Iridescent or high-gloss fabrics contrasted with matt materials are perfect as textile decorations or furniture upholstery with sculpted, complex forms. The patterns include wide stripes, geometric and graphic motifs and the entire world of digital inspirations: pixels, photorealistic prints and holographic effects.
Dark Luxury
This trend combines glamour and independence. It contains a synchronized palette of dark, elegant colours: black, navy blue, chestnut, grey and graphite, brightened with accents of metallic champagne and gold. Also used are shiny fabrics, mirror and rubber surfaces and trimmings. Combined with furs and leather of various textures, velour makes its great come-back. Iridescent and transparent fabrics create an atmosphere of mystery and tasteful lavishness.
Charm of Craft
This is an inspiring combination of tradition and craftsmanship and a showcase of modern technology. The colours are inspired by nature: mountainous landscapes, forests, lakes and the sky, contrasted with aged gold and copper. Folk inspirations from all around the world mingle with idyllic motifs of flowers, leaves, birds and rustic embroidery to create a patchwork, watercolour, batik or inlay effect. Weathered textiles full of imperfections create an impression of hand-made items. Charm of Craft expresses a longing for authenticity and uniqueness.
Clear Freshness
This trend is subtle, soft and full of light. Its main focus is simplicity, functionality, durability and quality of materials. Dominated by open-work, transparent, embossed and stamped materials, Clear Freshness is full of contrasts between light and shadow. The palette consists of subtle and fresh colours inspired by nature. Linear, contrasting patterns create strong, eye-catching accents.
