A unique creative space breaking away from the current studio and office standards has been created in Warsaw's Praga district. The author of the design, Mateusz Baumiller, chose our Spring velour to decorate the interior.
Clay.Warsaw is a space of 500 square metres, which houses a professional, multifunctional photographic studio, venue for creative meetings and office space of three production agencies – Photoby, Menu and Analog/Digital.
The location of Clay.Warsaw is unique. It is a pre-war building in Burdzińskiego Street in Warsaw's Praga district, which used to be a military warehouse in the 1930s. The designer combined the post-industrial atmosphere of this place with the furnishings from renowned Polish brands, such as Profim, Comforty, Tylko, Vzór, 366 Concept, Fameg, Nurt or Buck Studio.

Insulation and soundproofing
Our fabrics played a vital role in the arrangement of the Clay.Warsaw space. The decorative, double-width velour fabric – Spring was adapted to a variety of functions served by interiors. For instance, it was used to create a 25-meter curtain covering windows and loft glazing screens.
This allowed for bringing about the designer's intention of dividing the studio interiors according to dynamically changing needs and delineating intimate spaces. Due to their thickness, velour curtains not only ensure privacy and facilitate photographers' work, but also provide effective sound insulation, which is necessary both when working in the office and during photo shoots.
Adding cosiness to the loft
In Clay.Warsaw, Baumiller used 200 running meters of curtains made from our fabric. Their delicate, sheen and velvety texture soft to the touch warmed up the loft space. This is a perfect example of a proper use of textiles in interior design.
