Net curtains became popular in the 18th century and since then they have remained some of the most popular window decorations. Most often they are made of white or cream delicate, airy fabrics.
Net curtains, simple or decorative, make interiors more intimate. They filter light beautifully. If coloured, they change the hue of light, creating an exceptional ambiance in the room, if patterned – they cast fantastic shadows on the walls.
