Henry velour was used to create the setting for a unique installation “Może i las”, which was presented in Jedna Druga/13 muz Gallery in Szczecin.
A forest is a micro- and macrocosm of matter involved in a constant cycle of growth and decay. The sea is a giant in perpetual motion, filled with small and enormous creatures. Both these spaces, with such unique dynamics of movements, arrangements and forms, full of buzzing tissues, textures and meanings, have become the subject of a unique exhibition. Created out of a fascination with organic matter, presented at Jedna Druga/13 muz Gallery One in Szczecin, curated by Monika Szpener, the installation oscillates between art and design. It is a dialogue of two multisensory, yet completely different spaces. It focuses both on the great and the microscopic.
But the presentation of such diversity would not be possible without a proper background. In the work by Agata Kiedrowicz and Marta Szostek, it is a curtain made of woven velour Henry FR. This exclusive velour with a velvety surface made of flame-retardant polyester, allowed for highlighting the subject of the exhibition, but at the same time was not completely eclipsed by it. With its strong red shade (Sienna), the fabric completed the installation, becoming its full-fledged element.

The fabric used in the session:
Velour of beautiful velvet surface, made of fire-retardant polyester. It comes in extensively wide range of 89 colours: from intensely neon shades to subdued smoky colours. The fabric has good technical parameters, including high resistance to abrasion (over 50 000 Martindale cycles). Henry FR is recommended for public utility as well as private interiors. Certified with OEKO-TEX. Fire-retardant in accordance with the French NF 92-507 standard (M1).
