Opera is a velvet jacquard with a dense weave and a thick handle. It is resistant to creasing and abrasion. Out of all the four fabrics from the Moquette collection, Opera shows the strongest association with op-art - a style of art with a particular impact on visual perception. Its geometric pattern creates the impression of three-dimensionality - simultaneous depth and movement. Combined with appropriate colours, this feature plays an important role, as it effectively conceals any signs of intense use.
