Quilted

Quilted fabrics owe their three-dimensional surface to a special finishing process. Fabrics, along with a special batting (e.g. non-woven fabric) and a backing, are stitched or glued in various ways, joining the individual layers together. Quilting can be done in a point-to-point manner or used to create simple patterns: checks, stripes, zigzags, waves or uncomplicated floral motifs. Quilted fabrics are perfect for upholstery and decorative purposes. They can be used to sew pillows, bedspreads and bolsters.
