Dekoma 2021 Trends session

In June this year, we organised a photo session in Clay. Warsaw, presenting the current trends in the interior and fabric design, and textile decorations. We used fabrics from our offer to narrate three stylistic stories of the session.

Every year, new trends, ideas and solutions appear in the world of interiors, textiles and upholstered furniture design. In line with these current trends, we have presented several fabric collections in an inspiring, visually attractive form. We have divided the whole into three parts, whose common denominators are the types of fabrics, their colours, textures, patterns, as well as their intended use.

The first theme of our session is Modern Rococo. It is not the first time that references to classic, historical patterns have appeared in interior decorating and design. Inspired by the 1990s and the decade’s stylistic eclecticism, we combined the old and the new. The shapes of furniture known from the history of applied arts textbooks and the floral and geometric motifs of fabrics in the vein of Baroque and Neoclassicism (which themselves drew heavily from Antiquity) have been combined with the most fashionable colours of today: shades of powder and salmon pink, orange, ochre, and olive.

A variety of shades and an abundance of textile decorations endowed the arrangements presented in the atmospheric Clay interiors a truly Rococo feel. This part of our session was dominated by two fabric collections: Vernissage, i.e., five classic jacquard fabrics, and Ficelle – a fine, woven velour.
