Etna is a flame retardant decorative fabric created for use in public facilities. Lightweight and translucent, it does not block the access of light to the rooms and guarantees visibility. In addition, it has good acoustic properties. It is available in 13 colours: from subtle shades of white and natural brown, to bold red, navy blue, burgundy, grey and black.
The name of this fabric collection is not accidental. Etna is the name of the highest and largest active volcano in Europe, located in Italy, on the eastern coast of Sicily. The fabric is produced with special flame-retardant fibres. Etna is a lightweight, translucent material used as a decorative element in public spaces, such as hotels, restaurants, cinemas or theatres.

Etna has also good acoustic properties, reducing noise coming from outside the room or building, and at the same time improving the acoustic comfort inside. This, in combination with the translucency, encourages the use of this fabric also for “soft” division of space or partial, decorative covering of window openings.
Its 300 cm width is a great solution when designing public spaces (often spacious rooms with high ceilings). With its plain weave and the absence of a pattern or direction in the structure, it can be simply rotated by 90 degrees to cover the full height of many rooms and create a seamless surface effect.
