PINO
Inspired by the richness and diversity of the plant world, this collection features a range of chenille fabrics (mainly jacquards), offering a wide range of applications. They can be used for upholstering furniture, as well as sewing textile décor elements. With their subdued, natural palette, the Flora collection fabrics will bring a sense of calm and harmony to any interior.
The defining feature of the Flora upholstery and decorative fabric collection, apart from its chenille yarn, is the artful combination of colours and varying yarn thicknesses, allowing for beautifully diverse textures and colour effects. Melograno’s fruit and botanical motif woven from a soft, tactile chenille, Pino’s hypnotic, movement like classic herringbone, Grani’s melange knots, Semi’s gentle, rhythmic loops, and Semolino’s dense weave, whose dimensionality is enhanced by the interplay of two yarn shades.
The fabrics in the Flora collection take their names from the world of plants and trees, filled with forms and textures: Melograno stands for “pomegranate” in Italian, Pino for “pine”, Semolino for coarsely ground durum‑wheat flour, Grani for “grains” or “cereals”, and Semi for “seeds”.With their soft chenille texture and soothing, muted colours, the Flora fabrics are perfectly suited to relaxation spaces: living rooms, lounges, and bedrooms. Flora’s colour palette is defined by light beige, accompanied by light brown, white, grey, and muted green, with stronger accents of navy blue, black, graphite, and dark brown. This neutral colour palette will pair beautifully with natural materials such as wood, leather, rattan, and terracotta, as well as with more raw, industrial surfaces. The rich textures will add warmth to interiors dominated by concrete, steel, aluminium, or glass.
Melograno stands out with a botanical pattern reimagined in a modern style, being the most decorative fabric in the Flora collection. Pino offers a fresh take on the classic herringbone, with multi-coloured yarn giving the pattern a dynamic quality and creating an impression of movement and waves. Grani resembles a blend of bouclé and smooth tweed. Its tactile richness naturally hides small snags. Semi combines multiple shades of yarn, much like the other fabrics in the Flora collection. This fabric is exceptionally soft to the touch, making it a perfect choice when seeking a sense of cosiness. Semolino has a thick, pronounced weave that gives it a rustic, slightly raw character, while still working seamlessly in modern interiors with warm, natural tones. It is a neutral coordinate for the other fabrics from the Flora collection.
