Rete - new quality of 2022
The three-dimensional, double-layered structure of the Rete knitted fabric has a somewhat futuristic appearance associated with sporting equipment. At the same, it determines the fabric’s flexibility, stretchiness and air permeability.
In line with the 2022/2023 trend forecasts provided by experts during the Heimtextil Trade Fair, one of the major directions in the textile industry is technological experimentation in search for new materials and creating new complex fabric structures with new properties.
Rete is recommended for use as an upholstery fabric due to its elasticity and springiness. It is also suitable for unusual forms as well as for furniture that requires precision-made, flexible upholstery such as office chairs, pouffes and non-standard seats.
The spatial structure of Rete improves air circulation in the fabric and thus increases sitting comfort. The body does not overheat and water (perspiration) can evaporate.
Rete comes in 13 colours divided into two palettes, presented in two separate sample kits. Rete Office includes muted, darker colours, grey, black and white. Rete Sport features 5 intense, almost neon shades.
