Theatre of positive emotions

Garnizon Sztuki is a foundation that created a private theatre of the same name. This joint venture by two popular Polish actresses, Joanna Glińska and Grażyna Wolszczak, was launched in 2014 and in 2020, it procured its own headquarters. The theatre specialises in comedy shows, but uses this medium to talk about serious issues.

Its website states the following: “All projects by Garnizon Sztuki – a theatre of positive emotions – performances and the accompanying social campaigns – touch upon universal values, addressing important and difficult, and sometimes controversial topics that invariably move people. However, we talk about them with wit, distance and humour, which allows us to laugh at and thus embrace the traumas and fears that are ingrained deep within each of us. Despite the difficult topics we address, we want and are able to offer smart entertainment, uplifting emotions and food for thought. We send out a positive message and give hope.”
