Terra - new decorative chenille
Soft, chenille decorative fabric with a thick hold for versatile applications. It can be used to sew cushions, bolsters or curtains and upholster bed headboards or padded panels. It will be a perfect choice for window treatments and furniture upholstery.
Terra’s haptic surface comes from the use of chenille yarn, featuring a distinctive “peach-like fuzz”. Blended with flax fibres, the fabric boasts natural sophistication which comes from the addition of flax fibres.
Terra has a regular weave, while the use of various yarn colours in the warp and weft creates a subtle melange effect—particularly noticeable in darker colour variants, such as navy blue, graphite or black.
With its functional width of 296 cm, Terra is an excellent choice for decorating tall spaces.
The name of this fabric (“terra,” meaning earth in Italian) reflects its colour palette, which predominantly comprises earth tones, such as browns, beiges, greys, and shades of sand and clay. The range of 30 colours also includes whites, green, yellow, blue, navy blue, and black.
Terra will go well with a majority of interior styles. It is particularly well-suited for spaces intended to offer a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The fabric pairs beautifully with natural materials, such as wood, ceramics, and mineral plasters.
