Granola new colours
Granola is a melange upholstery fabric inspired by the mid-century design. We have extended its colour palette with 5 new shades.
Each of Granola’s 21 colour variants is a combination of several hues in carefully selected proportions and compositions. They infallibly evoke the design used in the mid-twentieth century both in clothing and furniture. The new additions to the colour chart of the fabric are predominantly based on dark, saturated browns in cold and warm tones, tactfully complemented with white, grey and orange. The sole exception is indigo combined with blue, white and grey fibres. Such colour compositions will not only prove practical in everyday use, but will also go well with the currently trendy dark colours of wood.
Granola is an upholstery fabric, whose composition comprises a blend of recycled cotton and wool, acrylic, polyester and silk. It will be a great solution for upholstering sofas, armchairs, chairs and pouffes, especially those with wooden frames. Its abrasion resistance is 50 000 Martindale cycles.
With its appearance, Granola resembles the famous donegal tweeds that have for centuries been manufactured in County Donegal, Ireland. This region is known for plain-weave tweeds, with the warp and weft differing in colour. These tweeds were adorned with irregularly woven small pieces of variously-coloured yarn, usually contrasting with the colour of the main fabric.
Sage - 2023 novelty
This lining fabric is intended to finish curtains and other window dressings. It protects delicate and UV-susceptible fabrics, making them less translucent and more drapable. Sage comes in a range of 28 colours.
It is a typical lining produced from 100% polyester fibres. Used as a second, back layer, it will protect delicate fabrics, such as silk, against fading. The lining will allow the outer layer of the curtain to retain its initial colour inside, despite the sun shining from the outside. Moreover, the very curtain will block more sunlight, thus darkening the interior more efficiently. Such a lined curtain is more drapable and thicker. A colour-matched lining will emphasise its beauty - you can choose a shade-wise coordination or a contrasting colour.
Sage is soft to the touch and can even be used as a complement to very delicate decorative fabrics. It comes in the width of 298 cm. Its wide colour range predominantly includes various shades of white, beiges, creams, ecru, ivory and café au lait, but it also features browns, navy blue, azure, pink and black.
