Dekoma at Impact 2026
On 13-14 May 2026, Poznań once again transformed into a vibrant meeting point for conversations about the evolving landscape of the economy, politics, technology, culture and social life. Impact, one of the leading technology and economic events in Central and Eastern Europe, returned to gather prominent figures from business, science, culture and politics. For the third consecutive edition, we partnered with the event’s organisers, providing our Foga and Wool fabrics for the space designed by Poznań’s Supergirls Do Design studio. The concept centred on creating zones that encouraged both interaction and the exchange of ideas, as well as moments of quiet retreat between sessions.
The line-up of speakers at the 11th Impact edition included: Daron Acemoğlu – Nobel Prize laureate in Economic Sciences for 2024 and MIT professor, Amal Clooney – international law and human rights attorney, Kristalina Georgieva – Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund; Scott Galloway – NYU Stern professor and entrepreneur, Jeff Koons, Olga Tokarczuk, Timothy Snyder and Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada from 2015 to 2025.
This year’s agenda unfolded as a narrative about a world on the brink of political, technological, economic and social transformation. It offered a perspective on a reality that is simultaneously accelerating, losing its balance and searching for new points of reference. Impact 2026 was structured around the themes that define today’s world. During the two day event, participants could engage in 94 hours of debates, listen to nearly 650 speakers, and explore 9 stages and 25 thematic tracks, including 10 introduced for the very first time.
Impact Art, a space for encountering and engaging with contemporary art, has remained an essential element of each edition. This year, it was created in partnership with the Krupa Art Foundation and the OmenaArt Foundation. The space featured works by Magdalena Abakanowicz, Ibrahim Mahama, Jędrzej Bieńko, Jeff Koons, Wilhelm Sasnal and Julia Kowalska, whose painting recently joined the Impact Art Collection. A highlight introduced this year were the signature zones of the Grand Theatre-National Opera and the National Museum in Warsaw. The Impact Art Show featured talks and discussions with artists and representatives of cultural institutions, including Wilhelm Sasnal, Michał Merczyński, Agnieszka Lajus and Borys Szyc.
This year’s spatial arrangement was based on three dominant colours: white, violet and green. The designers from the Supergirls Do Design studio used lightweight drapes made of Foga fabric in the Coconut Milk colour to define the event’s individual zones. Suspended from circular frames and complemented by fabric covered screens, they formed gentle divisions between areas dedicated to meetings, conversations and relaxation.
Within the Impact Art zone, our fabrics helped create a more intimate setting inside the Poznań International Fair halls. The white Foga and violet Wool drapes co created a space conducive to focus and individual experience of the artworks on display. Aligning with the event’s visual identity, they also served as a key element shaping the atmosphere of a place meant for stillness and a thoughtful encounter with art.
