Massi - three-dimensional velvet
Massi is a velvet knitted fabric intended for furniture upholstering. It boasts a thick and substantial handle, while its velvety surface is soft and pleasantly tactile. With its three-dimensional texture, it visually resembles tree bark or rock—hence its name, which means “boulders” in Italian.
Massi presents an alternative to popular upholstery fabrics like boucle or heavy corduroy, at the same time offering a unique character and aesthetics. It will be a perfect choice for modern and eclectic interiors, bringing a soothing and tactile textures to bedrooms, living rooms, and lounges.
Thanks to the addition of elastane fibres, the fabric effortlessly conforms to furniture elements, simplifying the upholstery process and ensuring a precise fit. However, due to Massi’s linear pattern, careful planning is essential when upholstering furniture to ensure a consistent and visually appealing result.
Massi is treated with a protective finish that repels water- and oil-based stains, facilitating furniture maintenance and preserving its elegant appearance for longer.
Massi comes in 16 colours, including both bright and deep, saturated shades, allowing seamless integration into various interior styles and arrangements. It can be crisp white, beige, brown, pink, golden, light grey, or azure, as well as graphite, navy blue, dark green, steel, or burgundy.
