NAVAJO Forest 73
Colour / pattern / texture
Gallery
An upholstery fabric from the Southwest collection, woven from a blend of cotton, acrylic and wool. Available in 6 colour variants. Each of them is a symmetrical repetition of a large, geometric, three-colour pattern, which resembles a star. The use of bouclé yarn makes these patterns slightly spatial and three-dimensional, like embroidery. The name Navajo refers to the motif adorning the fabric, associated with the old handicraft, typical of the south-western regions of North America. The Navajo tribe, inhabiting the area, was known to be the first to make textiles decorated with similar patterns.
