A jacquard fabric with a fine geometric pattern, inspired by Art Deco and Biedermeier aesthetics. Its regular rows of triangles are reminiscent of sharp fragments of a shattered porcelain or glass vessel. The contrasting colour palette lends the design a subtle Op-Art touch, creating a sense of three-dimensional depth.
Shard’s firm structure and pronounced texture are best showcased on simple forms and flat surfaces without gathers or draping. The fabric is a perfect solution for upholstering furniture, as well as sewing textile décor elements, such as cushions and bolsters.
Shard comes in seven colour variants and, together with Tile, Sandglass and Scale, forms the Kaleidoscope collection.
