We have expanded the colour chart of the bouclé fabric Alba with 4 new, distinctive shades. As a result, this fabric - so far available in subdued, rather light colours - gained a completely new character, allowing for interesting stylistic experiments inspired by the 1980s and ‘90s.
Intense azure, mustard yellow, russet and mossy, forest green seem to be directly captured from the palettes of postmodern architects and designers, making their come-back on the wave of interest in this style. They will lend a touch of intense colour to any interior and, when combined with Alba’s texture, offer new possibilities to interior and furniture designers.
Alba is a bouclé upholstery fabric with characteristic, irregular loops. It is conducive to a cosy atmosphere and pleasant to the touch. The fabric looks best in sofas and armchairs with rounded, soft forms, without quilting or stitching - its rich structure does not need any additional upholstery solutions. Alba is practical in everyday use, as its irregular loops effectively hide small snags (made by e.g. your pet’s claws).
