Collection of upholstery fabrics made in Italy using recycled cotton. Its patterns, colour palette, grade, production method as well as the name itself, Garda is one of the largest Italian lakes, refer to nature, simplicity and pro-environmental practices.
Garda comprises five 100% cotton fabrics: Mura, Limone, Salo, Pieve and Garda. Their raw, distinctive patterns boast textured weaves. They come in 7 subdued, nature-inspired colours that emphasise the aesthetic values of the fabrics. Various shades of grey - from silver to graphite, warm beige and brown, and classic black and white bring out the character of the collection’s patterns. The fabrics can be combined in different interior and furniture projects, yielding interesting texture compositions.
Fabrics from the Garda collection are made in Italy using cotton from recycled T-shirts. Importantly, they do not need dyeing, as during the first stage of production the fibres are sorted by colour. As a result, the production process has a lesser impact on the environment.
Given their patterns and colour range, fabrics from the Garda collection are recommended for upholstering simple furniture forms. They are a great solution for nature-inspired projects. These fabrics will match perfectly with the canvas plain-weave Como fabric, which is a coordinate for the Garda collection. Similar to the latter, Como is also made from 100% recycled cotton. Since the fabrics are not blends, they can be recycled again.
