AKROPOL
CUDO (en marvel) Vegan Sushi in its Wrocław edition is a harmonious blend of Japanese minimalism, the charm of Asian street food aesthetics, and the mouth-watering vibrancy of orange hues inspired by colourful, plant-based dishes. In the interior, designer Ewa Dulcet, applied three artificial leathers from our collection: Akropol in two shades and Nestor.
The interior of the venue at Jodłowa 4 in Wrocław is divided into three zones. A separate room with a large round table provides an ideal space for feasting with a larger group. The bar area, offering a view of the open kitchen, will appeal to guests who enjoy the ambiance of dining spots in Asian metropolises—sometimes bustling and slightly noisy, bathed in neon lights regardless of the time of day. Vegan roll enthusiasts, whether dining solo or as a pair, will often gravitate toward the intimate tables arranged neatly along the restaurant’s wall.
The hallmark of Wrocław’s CUDO is the colour orange, presented in various shades. Orange appears in the bar stool frames, some of the lamps, the metal structure above the bar, and numerous other interior details. The same applies to our artificial leathers, Akropol Orange 607 and Nestor Tangerine 011, which were used for the seating of chairs, bar stools, and round wall panels. In turn, the creamy Akropol Butternutt 924 was used to upholster the backrests and seats of the benches. In addition to the colour palette aligned with the design concept, the choice was also influenced by the properties of both these materials, which are recommended for public interiors.
Another distinctive motif in CUDO is the circle. The seating and chair details, the upholstered backrests of the benches along the walls, as well as the lamps and neon lights above the bar—all contribute to a sense of calm and harmony evoking the softness of circular, spherical forms. To recreate the atmosphere of Asian eateries, the designer chose ceramic tiles, terrazzo, and powder-coated metal, softened with a touch of beech wood. The design also features local elements: lamps crafted at the Polish Łużyce glassworks, neon signs created by Neonista from Poznań, and colourful ceramic tableware made in the Romaczuki workshop.
