This chenille jacquard, featuring a stylised botanical motif, can be used for upholstering furniture, as well as sewing decorative cushions and bolsters. While Melograno’s pattern evokes motifs from historical, classical textiles, its fragmented, sketch style chenille weave lends it a distinctly modern feel. The motif of whimsical fruits, leaves, and stems resembles a fragment of a woodcut, a time worn print or tattoo. The combination of two yarn shades enhances the pattern’s dimensionality.
Melograno comes in six colour variants, coordinated with the other fabrics from the Flora collection: Semolino, Semi, Grani, and Pino. The name Melograno comes from Italian and means “pomegranate.”
